The Money Toad, also known as Three Legged Toad, Money Frog or Chan Chu in Chinese, is a symbol linked to the moon and thus to the principle of Yin.

This 3 legged Money Toad is said to bring monetary gain, wealth and fortune. When placed in your home this Three Legged Money Toad can be kept in a corner of the room where the gathering point of chi is strong, or in one of the corners inside the house near the main door facing inwards, signifying cash flow inwards.

The Chinese Money Toad is also said to protect against misfortune, drive away evil and also to protect any wealth already possessed.

Feng Shui is the Chinese philosophy of understanding the energy that surrounds us. It deals with using positive chi or energy to improve a person's good fortune and success. Feng Shui (which is pronounced Fung Shwey) translates as "the way of wind and water" or "the natural forces of the universe".

In our daily life, we are in the most part oblivious to the fact that we are constantly affected by different energies. These energies are basically electromagnetic fields that we can neither see nor feel. Therefore unconsciously we create a mesh of energies around us. Using the principles of feng shui, we can control our actions and our lives and attain our goals.

There are many ways you can bring feng shui into your life, once you have de-cluttered and cleansed your space, of course. Some common methods include the placing of a Money Toad also known as the Three Legged Toad or Chan Chu in Chinese. This symbol is linked to the moon and thus the principle of Yin.

Other popular options are the Bagua Mirror, Chinese Coins, Chinese Dragons for protection and Lucky Buddhas.
