When: 2 dates available: Tuesday 5th & Tuesday 12th December 2023 - 6:00pm-7:30pm
Location: In store - Clouds, Upper Egerton Walk, Walkden Town Centre, M28 3ZH)
What you need: Wear something comfortable and feel free to bring an apron/clothes that you don't mind getting a splash of paint on (just in case)
Price: £15 (This workshop will be limited to 6 spaces)
What’s it about:
An intimate workshop created to explore how you can inject art and creativity into your mindfulness practice, which is great for your own mental wellness, health and wellbeing.
You will be walked through a creative mindfulness journey, learning what mindfulness is and how we can use it in our everyday lives. The workshop will end with a 10 minute guided meditation and an open discussion about your feelings and what you will take away from the experience of creating your piece of abstract art.
If you are looking for a little bit of calm, this workshop is for you!
You don't need to be a skilled artist, or "good at art" to attend this workshop - creativity and mindfulness is for everyone!
Meet Mark:
We're so happy to be collaborating with Mark. He's a talented Fluid Artist and YouTuber with over 30,000 subscribers. Mark's work features abstract acrylic pouring with an emphasis on mindfulness and mental health and how art and creativity can be used as a meditation tool.
As well as producing one of a kind artworks that are hung in homes around the world, he has also completed a diploma in art therapy.
