Blue Goldstone

Blue Goldstone is a stone for the throat chakra.

The sparkly flecks (of cobalt) in blue goldstone are symbolic of the light that can always be found in darkness. Reminding us of the starry night sky, it can encourage our efforts to "reach the stars" in our endeavours. It can be especially useful to use in meditations.

Invented in the 17th Century in Venice, blue goldstone is actually man made from quartz sand glass infused with cobalt particles. Despite being man made it is still useful as a healing stone, helping to increase blood flow and to alleviate inflammation.
