Lavender Sleep Massage Oil is made with pure essential oil of Lavender.
Everyone has a different optimal sleep amount. Some find that more than 6 hours makes them drowsy and tired, whilst others can't operate properly with less than 8 hours. The National Sleep Foundation maintains that 8-9 hours of sleep for adult humans is optimal, and that sufficient sleep benefits alertness, memory, problem solving and overall health, as well as reducing the risk of accidents. Insomnia is a sleep disorder characterized by an inability to sleep and/or inability to remain asleep for a reasonable period. Insomniacs typically complain of being unable to close their eyes or "rest the mind" for more than a few minutes at a time. The cause of this could be fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression, or bipolar disorder and sometimes occurs for no apparent reason. An overactive mind, physical pain or depression may also be among the culprits causing poor sleep quality.
The more relaxed a person is, the greater the likelihood of getting a good night's sleep. Relaxation techniques such as meditation and aromatherapy massage have been proved to help people sleep. Such techniques can lower stress levels from both the mind and body, which leads to a deeper, more restful sleep.
Lavender has been associated with sleep since ancient times and is commonly used to aid insomnia and sleep related disorders caused by stress, anxiety or tension.

Massage, using a specially formulated blend of appropriate essential oils, is a relaxing, enjoyable and extremely beneficial way to dissolve away the stresses and strains of everyday life. Pure aromatherapy oils are pre-blended in carrier oil (usually Sweet Almond or Grapeseed) to suit a range of specific purposes, whether you are attempting to induce a good night’s sleep, ease tired and swollen joints, alleviate arthritis, sooth tired feet, or simply to uplift your spirits.
It is accepted that Early Man probably discovered that certain leaves and berries could help to make wounds heal, and that particular leaves and roots helped to ward off sickness.
In his quest to harness the power made available to him by the abundance of natural ingredients in his living environment, one of the methods of use adopted involved laying them directly on to the skin – either in their natural state, soaked in water or other liquid, heated, crushed, or prepared into a poultice.
With the later discovery and development of the essential oils that could be derived from these and other organic materials, it was soon realised that in their liquid form they presented an excellent means of application on to the skin.
