Oil extracted by steam distillation from fresh/partly dried leaves

Properties:
Viscosity is watery
Scent is lemony and sweet
Colour is dark yellow/amber

Uses:
Revitalising
Helps combat nervous exhaustion and stress related headaches
It is a general tonic and helps boost the bodys ability to recover from illness
Useful for respiratory infections laryngitis, sore throats, fever
Can help with colitis, indigestion and gastro enteritis
Can be used to relieve muscle pain as it helps to tone muscle tissue
It lessens excessive perspiration, as well as being useful for clearing oily skin, acne and athletes foot
It is often used to relieve jet lag

Other applications:
It is also excellent as an insect repellent

It can cause some skin irritation
It should be avoided during pregnancy
