Fractionated Coconut Essential Oil
Latin name: cocos nucifera
Properties:
Thin viscosity, slightly cloudy with coconut aroma.
Shelf life: 12 months.
As coconut oil is solid at room temperature, some of the fatty acids and proteins are removed by the fractionating process, changing the oil to a liquid state to make it easier to use.
Uses:
It is used as a skin moisturiser, and applied to hair to help retain proteins.
