In the West, in China, all over the world, people like to surround themselves with decorative items that make them feel happy or comfortable. Sometimes we have images of our loved ones, past and present. Sometimes we have beautifully captured images (painted or photographed). Sometimes we just like to have reminders or meaningful little messages situated at strategic points in our homes.
