Judging from the rows and rows of card stands in many of the High Street shops, you will perhaps not be surprised to learn that in the United Kingdom, it is estimated that at least £1.7 billion per annum is spent on greeting cards, with the average person sending over 50 cards per year totalling over 2 billion cards!
Many such cards are mass-produced, but there are also smaller, more select ranges to be found that suit a particular theme or lifestyle - cards by fantasy artists, for instance - that might suit better the particular sentiment you wish to express and the person you wish to send it to.
